For example, updates are made to the English version of a product manual, and these changes must also be made to the German version. Only the new sections of text are identified as translatable (changed), while the remainder is unchanged. The translator can thus easily locate and translate the updated sections vs. the whole manual, and has the context at hand.

Technical resources and data security

An excellent data and security system is an important component of our reliable service. In this area too, we always strive to rise to the challenges presented by our customers.

Our systems incorporate the latest translation-related equipment and software. We use several translation memory programs. In addition, we use our customers’ own tools — or almost any specified program.

When necessary, our CAT Support team will demonstrate the use of the most appropriate tools and operational models for the project at hand.

Physical security includes protecting the company premises. Technical security is provided via encrypting electronic communication and the appropriate administrative precautions include classifying all information, risk analyses, and continuous training of personnel.

For external communication, we offer our customers FTP, encryption and a secure channel for file deliveries (AAC Assignment Service) when necessary.
